High quantities of fruits, even for humans mean high quantities of sugar. Veterinarian Dr. Ivana Vukasinovic points out a list of fresh fruits you can share with your dog. Be sure to wash all fruits and remove rinds, inedible skins, seeds, and pits before feeding to pets.

Rich in fiber, vitamins A, and C, the apple is a healthy snack for us and for our four-legged friends.


In addition to the unique smooth texture and sweet taste, bananas containing amino acids, electrolytes, minerals, vitamins B6 and C, potassium, manganese and beneficial fibers. If your dog is active and burns a lot of calories, bring with you a banana for a walk.


Blueberries are completely safe and healthy both for us and for our pet. They contain antioxidants, fiber, and phytochemicals that improve the health of your dog. While it is best to give them in fresh form, you can safely treat the dog and frozen fruits.
