 Revolution Side Effects in Dogs 

When it comes to Revolution side effects in dogs, according to Pfizer, less than 1% of cats and dogs experienced digestive upset as a result of using this product. Vomiting, loose stools, diarrhea with or without blood, anorexia, lethargy, salivation, tachypnea, and muscle tremors are other Revolution side effects in dogs listed, but they are claimed by Pfizer's Insert to be rare (0.5% of 1743 cats and dogs treated).

In a study, Revolution was given at 1, 3, 5, and 10 times the recommended dosage in 6 week old puppies and no reactions were observed.

Caution should be used with collies or other herding breeds who are likely to develop reaction to selamectin and is most likely to happen if given over the recommended dose.

Five- to eight-month-old Beagles were given Revolution orally at the recommended topical dose and no adverse effects were reported.
